Top solicitors can also deal with things like unfair dismissal, discrimination, and criminal law.

Our UK solicitors search directory contains thousands of both local and national solicitors, on multiple websites covering all fields all over the country. You get targeted solicitor search results that are all relevant and they are ready to hear your case and give you the professional advice you deserve.

Find the top solicitor in your area

When you need a top solicitor to handle your legal matters, it is important to find the kind of firm that most suits your individual needs. The way you go about finding that solicitor can make all the difference to your end result. There are a few things to bear in mind:

1 It's best to go with a local expert if you can find one, because of the ease of communication.

2. Depending on the size of your case, it may be better for you to be an important case for a small firm than one of many cases for a big firm.

3. Don't jump into a committment too hastily. If you find out you don't like working with a particular firm, or they are not giving you a personal enough service, you need the chance to change firms before you have agreed to pay any fees.

4. Deal with the important issues first. There is no point in wasting your time and their time with a firm that won't work on the sort of fee basis that you need, or on the time-scale you require - so sort that out first if it is an important issue to you.

5. Solicitors take a lot of days off, so make sure you know the holiday schedule for the person you will be dealing with, and if that fits in with your plans.

6. Present yourself well if you want to be taken seriously. Just as you wouldn't walk into a top restaurant in T-shirt and jeans, you would be best not to walk into a top solicitor's office like that.

Simply click the letter that your town begins with, and select it from a drop down list, or if you know the name of the company you are looking for, you can use our targeted search facilities.
